Accessible Racing joins Pre-Race activities at Mohegan Sun NASCAR Camping World 200

Accessible Racing has been invited to participate in pre-race hot laps at 2008 Mohegan Sun NASCAR Camping World 200 at Lime Rock Park on August 15th. Accessible Racing is the first ever Arrive & Drive experience for persons with disabilities. They have created a national buzz entertaining wheelchair guests from Alabama, California, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and New York.

Accessible Racing will share hospitality, entertainment, hot laps, in addition to NASCAR, vintage racers, SCCA amateurs, and Miata drivers to utilize the "Classic" Lime Rock Park layout has been resurfaced. The first Test and Tune Day since the repaving drew favorable feedback from popular NASCAR drivers such as, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt, Chevrolet, and Tribal Chief Matt Kobyluck, chauffeuring the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino Chevrolet. However, JBR Racing road course expert Larry Moloney and full-time driver Jody Lavendar will roll out a new link to Accessible Racing, a non-profit organization which benefits veterans and civilians with disabilities. Accessible Racing strives to break down barriers and create opportunities to over 54 million Americans with disabilities. For more information on how you or your organization can get involved with Accessible Racing please contact Brian Hanaford at 603-726-6477.
